In the United States are preparing for the occupation on Wall Street, have already reached over 10,000 accessions. All other countries, both Europe and other continents, are preparing to do likewise, to fight against the dictatorship of the banks that now make the law of all governments worldwide.
As a result of what is happening in Italy, where the scholarship is subject to speculation, more than ever a few, let’s bring our protest.
Come along!

September 17th: Is America Ripe for a Tahrir Moment?#occupywallstreet

Alright you redeemers, rebels, radicals and utopian dreamers out there,

A worldwide shift in revolutionary tactics is underway right now that bodes well for the future. The spirit of this fresh tactic, a fusion of Tahrir with the acampadas of Spain, is captured in this quote:

The antiglobalization movement was the first step on the road. Back then our model was to attack the system like a pack of wolves. There was an alpha male, a wolf who led the pack, and those who followed behind. Now the model has evolved. Today we are one big swarm of people.

— Raimundo Viejo, Pompeu Fabra University, Barcelona, Spain

The beauty of this new formula, and what makes this novel tactic exciting, is its pragmatic simplicity: we talk to each other in various physical gatherings and virtual people’s assemblies … we zero in on what our one demand will be, a demand that awakens the imagination and, if achieved, would propel us toward the radical democracy of the future … and then we go out and seize a square of singular symbolic significance and put our asses on the line to make it happen.

On September 17, we want to see 20,000 people flood into lower Manhattan, set up tents, kitchens, peaceful barricades and occupy Wall Street for a few months. Once there, we shall incessantly repeat our one simple demand until Barack Obama capitulates.

for the wild,

US Day of Rage San Francisco #sept17 2p 555 California St #usdor #usdorCA #occupywallstreet @usdayofrageCA

Sept 17 at 2:00 PM we plan to gather outside 555 California St. in San Francisco. It is near a BART station for mass public transit. Montgomery St. is called the Wall St. of the West and the building, formerly called the Bank of America Center, is located nearby to Montgomery St. and currently houses Bank of America, Goldman Sachs and other financial clients as tenants. The tenants of the building and the name “Wall St. of the West” is fitting to show our solidarity with the #OccupyWallStreet crowd in NYC.

US Day of Rage Los Angeles Sept 17 2pm Olvera St. #usdorLosA #usdor #sept17 #occupywallstreet @usdayofrageLosA

Sept 17 at 2:00 PM we plan to gather at Olvera St. aka “La Placita Olvera” to many Angelenos.

It is conveniently located next to Union Station for mass public transit in LA. Planning for a weekend long gathering unless large numbers show up, in which case we plan to camp as long as possible so people should come prepared with tents, water, a backpack etc. and plan for a long gathering. While the financial district may have been more symbolic to our solidarity with the #OccupyWallStreet Movement the financial district is not as publicly open as Olvera St. nor is it as easy to get there with mass transit for most people coming from SD, Ventura, etc.

Madrid joins ‘#Antibanks action’ on September 17th, support to #Occupywallstreet

Published by the Economics Working Group of Madrid at TomaLaPlaza.net

The Economics Working Group of SOL (Madrid) in support to the initiative “Occupy WALL STREET” promoted by various associations and movements in the United States who have decided to camp out in front of the New York Stock Exchange on September 17 in order to ask for an economy serving the people, the regulation of financial markets, limiting their influence on political life, the creation of a public bank and a fair and equitable sharing of wealth.
We likewise call for all citizens to focus in front of the Madrid Stock Exchange on September 17, a day in which we will discuss those and those that sank the economy, which are the same and the same, institutions now betting against our future and promoting major cuts in social demand. Cuts which not only dramatically slow economic recovery, but also condemn the majority citizens to have worse schools, hospitals worse, worse pensions for our elderly, poorer infrastructure, thus conditioning the future of future generations.

It also clarifies that there is a double reason for making this event on a Saturday, because we want to help our American colleagues, who will begin their camp that day, and because during this time we will organize a forum for presenting lectures and discussions in addition to our complaint, presenting possible alternatives to our current economical situation.

Date: September 17

Time: 12:00 – 00:00

Location: Madrid Stock-Market Headquarters (Plaza de la Lealtead, by the Paseo del Prado and the Plaza of Neptune)
